Job Description
We're looking for a Senior Data Architect to deliver a short, decision-focused engagement assessing the feasibility of centralising cyber security data and insights.
You'll own the end-to-end data architecture - from understanding the current data landscape through to shaping a clear path to MVP delivery.
Rate: Up to £600 / day Outside IR35
Location: Remote
Clearance: Active SC Clearance (essential)
Contract: 3 months (+extensions)
What you'll do
* Assess priority cyber datasets for readiness, quality, sensitivity, ownership, and access constraints
* Define what is MVP-ready, what needs remediation, and what belongs in a future state
* Set clear architectural guardrails to guide MVP delivery, covering data centralisation vs federation, secure access, privacy, and metadata-led discovery
* Advise pragmatically on tools and platforms, aligned to what's achievable within the engagement
* Support proof-of-concept insights, ensuring assumptions, limitations, and reuse potential are clear
* Contribute to a prioritised MVP backlog and provide a robust architecture handover
