This is a foundational hire for an experienced recruiter who understands the US market and wants to help build, scale and shape a high-performing search practice alongside the founder of a growing business.
We’re looking for someone commercially minded, entrepreneurial, and confident operating at senior levels of recruitment within Finance or Technology across the United States market.
If you’ve already proven you can bill, build relationships and win mandates - this role gives you the platform to scale something meaningful.
The Opportunity
You will work directly with the founder to expand a successful recruitment offering already delivering work in the US market.
This role is about growth, influence and leadership, not just delivery.
You will:
• Build and develop senior client relationships across the US market
• Deliver retained and high-value contingent mandates
• Help shape strategy, market positioning and expansion plans
• Work on senior mandates (Director, VP, C-Suite) within Finance or Technology
• Contribute to the growth of a specialist US practice
• Travel periodically to the US to develop client relationships and market presence
• Play a key role in scaling the team as the business grows
What We’re Looking For
This role will appeal to experienced recruiters who want more ownership and impact.
You will likely have:
• Strong experience recruiting into the US market
• Background in Accounting & Finance, FinTech, SaaS, or Technology recruitment
• A track record of winning and delivering senior mandates
• Experience working retained or executive search assignments (preferred but not essential)
• A consultative, relationship-driven approach to clients and candidates
• The ambition to build something bigger than just your desk
