HR Officer
About the role
We are currently looking for a Human Resource Officer to join our client based in Cramlington, this is a fixed term role.
Duties
1. Assisting in the recruitment of staff and full employee lifecycle
2. Managing employee induction programmes and deliver sections of the induction programme as required.
3. Ensuring that company policies and procedures are applied accurately and providing guidance and advice.
4. Managing sickness/absence levels through the maintenance and reporting.
5. Supporting and guiding line managers in absence management practices, utilising the disciplinary procedures as appropriate.
6. Managing and maintaining the T&A system and the HR system.
7. To ensure accurate HR administration and record systems are maintained in order to provide a reference basis for decision making on employee development, remuneration and manpower planning.
8. Annual pay reviews, and disciplinary hearings.
9. Involvement in strategic HR projects.
10. Participation in health and wellbeing campaigns.
What they are looking for:
11. Generalist HR experience within a fast paced environment.
12. High accuracy and attention to detail.
13. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with employees at all levels and be persuasive and diplomatic yet firm.
14. Knowledge of HR policies and procedures including employment legislation.
15. CIPD qualified.
