Position Overview
We are seeking dynamic and driven Sales Executive (Project Developer) to join our expanding team. This role is central to LUMENSTREAM’s business growth, driving lead generation, managing client relationships throughout the sales pipeline and supporting the entire sales process from initial outreach to project completion.
Sales Executives will be responsible for business growth and driving lead generation, conducting initial video demo presentations, nurturing client relationships, preparing and presenting project proposals. While technical site surveys will be conducted by our technical team, the Sales Executive may attend these visits to support client relationship development.
This role offers a unique opportunity to play a key part in scaling our Lighting as a Service model and preparing for the upcoming launch of new product lines.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead Generation & Business Development: Proactively generate leads and identify new business opportunities, focusing on large energy consumers across commercial and industrial sectors. Develop outreach strategies to engage potential clients and build a robust sales pipeline.
* Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients throughout the sales process, acting as their primary point of contact. Guide them from the initial engagement through to project completion, ensuring a seamless experience.
* Demo Presentations & Sales Outreach: Conduct initial demo presentations via video calls to introduce potential clients to LumenStream’s Lighting as a Service model and upcoming sustainable energy products.
* Clearly communicate the benefits and value proposition, setting the stage for deeper client engagement.
* Proposal Presentations: Update and maintain customer proposal presentations, ensuring clients understand the financial, technical, and sustainability benefits of our solutions. Be prepared to answer questions and address concerns during these meetings.
* Sales Cycle Management: Manage the full sales cycle from initial outreach, demo presentations, proposal submissions, and deal negotiations, through project close. Track all activities within the CRM system to ensure a well‑documented and organized sales process.
* Cross‑functional Collaboration: Collaborate with LumenStream’s technical team to ensure smooth handoffs, alignment on project details, and successful delivery of client proposals.
* CRM Management & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of leads, client interactions, and sales activities using HubSpot. Prepare regular reports on sales progress, pipeline activity, and performance against targets for senior management.
Personal Specification
* 3+ years of sales or business development experience, preferably in the clean tech, renewable energy, or energy efficiency sectors.
* Strong ICT skills and computer literacy are essential, with experience in CRM systems.
* Proven ability to generate leads, manage relationships, and close high‑value deals.
* Experience in conducting video call presentations and leading sales demos.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and manage relationships with senior stakeholders.
* Self‑motivated and organized, capable of managing multiple clients and projects simultaneously.
* A passion for sustainability and the drive to contribute to LumenStream’s mission.
Desirable Skills
* Experience in Lighting as Service or renewable energy sales models is a plus.
* Familiarity with energy efficiency, lighting technology, or renewable energy solutions.
* Experience presenting technical proposals and leading client meetings.
