We represent a long-established North Wales based manufacturing business, who design and manufacture an impressive range of premium quality, safety critical products. They seek to recruit a progressive and people focused Quality Manager (HSE responsible) to drive a strong culture of quality, health and safety across a busy and multi process manufacturing shop floor. Driving the improvement of quality and safety related KPIs, developing and ameliorating the quality and safety management system and encouraging ownership of and responsibility for quality and safety performance across all employees and departments. The QHSE Manager will also lead a small team of engineers and technicians, and will also be responsible for coaching and mentoring this team to develop their skills and knowledge base. This is an all encompassing remit to include customer and supplier liaison, as well as leading on internal plant quality problem solving and improvement. Key skills * Significant experience in a Quality Manager or QHSE Manager, or senior quality engineer preferably with some previous experience in a HSE leadership capacity * Experience in a mechanical/assembly manufacturing setting * Preferably qualified in engineering * Good knowledge and proven application of problem-solving tools such as 8D, 5Y, CAPA, FMEA, Pareto Ishikawa, PPAP and SPC * Good knowledge of ISO standards, and preference for experience with AS9100 or IATF16949...
