Long O Donnell are currently recruiting for an experienced Employee & HR Manager to deliver Talent Development and HR activities across the business in the UK and Ireland. This is a part time position offering 15 20 hours per week to be split over a minimum of 3 days. Key responsibilities: Management and close out of employee queries professionally and courteously over the phone, email and on a face-to-face basis. Management of liaison and support for line managers with HR queries as required. Developing, management and controlling employee and subcontractor T&Cs and variation letters as appropriate for UK and Irish employees /subcontractors. Developing, management and controlling the on-boarding process of any new starter (Staff or Subcontractor). Developing, management and controlling Roles and Responsibilities documents for each staff member and subcontractor. Developing, management and controlling the HR registers including training plans and holiday registers. Draft and distribute letters as required. Management and control of all leaver paperwork. Management and control of all personnel files. Management and control of all appraisal cycles. Management and control of all PPE requirements. Managing external HR services providers to ensure legal compliance at all times. Ensuring GDPR compliance across Talent Development and HR Developing, managing and organising training and development requirements Developing and implementing policies as required or updating existing ones as appropriate. Developing, managing and organising project briefing and weekly lookahead requirements and approvals Managing a full time HR co-ordinator with general administration duties of the above. Skills required: Minimum CIPD Level 5. CIPD Level 7 qualification is preferred. Experience of leading HR activities along with strong talent development in a multi-faceted business. Solid understanding and experience of managing the full employee life cycle. A track record in managing supporting resources. Ability to effectively work in a fast-paced environment and manage your workload. Ideally have worked within a service based or consultancy business.
