Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Site Manager with a strong civils or engineering background to lead a demolition and construction project in Lowestoft. The role involves managing the demolition of existing modular buildings and overseeing the construction of a new tarmac flat car park with drainage. The project is situated on a live GP surgery site in a confined town centre location, requiring excellent client and customer-facing skills to minimise disruption and maintain positive stakeholder relationships. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the project is delivered safely on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. Strong leadership, site management, and communication skills are essential to coordinate subcontractors, manage site logistics, and uphold health and safety compliance throughout the project.

Key Responsibilities:
Manage all site activities including demolition and civils works for car park construction
Maintain excellent client and public relations on a live healthcare site
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations
Coordinate subcontractors, labour, and resources efficiently
Oversee site documentation, risk assessments, method statements, and progress reporting
Manage programme, budget, and quality control to meet project objectives
Lead site inductions, toolbox talks, and safety briefings
