We are a well-established, customer-focused independent garage with a strong reputation for quality workmanship and honest service. As our business continues to grow, we are looking for an experienced Customer Service Manager to join our team and ensure an exceptional customer journey from booking to vehicle handover.

This is a key role within a close-knit team, ideal for someone who has come from a JLR or main dealer background and is looking for more autonomy, responsibility, and a better work–life balance within a smaller operation.

The Role

As Customer Service Manager, you will be the main point of contact for our customers and the link between the workshop and the front desk. Your responsibilities will include:

* Managing daily customer service operations and overseeing the service reception
* Handling customer enquiries, bookings, estimates, and invoicing
* Ensuring a smooth and professional customer journey at every touchpoint
* Liaising closely with technicians and workshop control to manage workflow
* Dealing with customer concerns or complaints in a calm, professional manner
* Maintaining high CSI standards and encouraging repeat business
* Supporting and mentoring front-of-house staff where required
* Using garage management systems efficiently and accurately

About You

We're looking for someone who is organised, confident, and genuinely cares about customer experience.

Essential:

* Proven experience in a customer-facing automotive role
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
* Professional, approachable, and solutions-focused

Highly Desirable:

* Previous experience with Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) or within a main dealer environment
* Experience in a Service Advisor or Customer Service Manager role
* Familiarity with dealer-level processes and standards
