Have you ever wanted to work somewhere where values aren't just words, but shape the way people are treated every single day?
This private school is looking for an HR Officer... it's a place with deep history and tradition, yet its focus is firmly on the people here and now.
Their vision is simple but powerful...an education that transforms lives as well as minds, and that goes for staff as much as students.
The culture here is built on individuality, respect, equity, and kindness.
It's a close-knit community, with warmth and trust at its heart.
Wellbeing is taken seriously, and every member of staff is supported to be at their best.
As HR Officer, you'll play a steady, important part in that:
Making sure recruitment checks are done properly.
Welcoming new starters and helping them settle in.
Keeping contracts, records, and payroll accurate.
Being the calm & approachable voice staff turn to when they need clarity or support.
You don't need to have worked in education before, what matters is that you know your HR, you're confident working with unions, and you can balance fairness with empathy.
CIPD training or equivalent experience will give you the right foundation.
What's in it for you?
A salary of £35-40k.
25 days holiday plus bank holidays.
School based during term time, with a little more flexibility during non-term time.
Generous pension and lifestyle benefits.
Free onsite parking.
A hot lunch every day in term time.
And most importantly, the chance to be part of a workplace where community, respect and wellbeing really matter.
If you're an HR Officer who believes HR should be about people as much as policies, this could be your next step.
