We have an exciting opportunity for a full-time Band 7 Family Nurse to join our Family Nurse Partnership (FNP) Team in Wiltshire. The Family Nurse Partnership (FNP) is a national evidence-based programme aimed at improving antenatal health, child health and development, and parents' economic self-sufficiency in disadvantaged young families.
This role involves delivering the FNP intensive, preventive home visiting programme and the healthy child programme to vulnerable, hard-to-reach young women expecting their first baby. It is a demanding specialist role requiring training to develop high-level generalist and specialist skills within the structured programme's clinical methods. Family nurses will develop therapeutic relationships with clients and work intensively within complex family situations to achieve programme outcomes.
Our colleagues' well-being is highly valued, with weekly supervision sessions provided. The role's base location is flexible across Wiltshire, potentially in Salisbury or Trowbridge, and can be discussed at interview.
Main Responsibilities
1. Recruit and engage eligible, hard-to-reach pregnant young women onto the FNP Programme.
2. Participate in delivering the FNP and healthy child programmes.
3. Use programme materials and methods in clients' homes to:
* Improve pregnancy outcomes.
* Enhance children's health and development by enabling confident parental care.
* Support parental life course planning, education completion, and employment.
1. Work therapeutically with family members to promote behaviour change and positive outcomes.
2. Take a lead professional role when additional support for children with needs is required.
3. Participate in reflective supervision, monitor client engagement, and ensure high-quality service delivery.
4. Help families access other universal health and support services confidently.

Candidate Requirements
* Qualified Family Nurse and registered with the NMC.
* At least two years' community experience working with hard-to-reach families.
* Valid UK driver's license.
* Willingness to undertake additional training and travel across localities.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
