WPS are seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee planned Social Housing Decarbonisation Fund (SHDF) works in the County Durham area. This is a fantastic opportunity to lead a high‑profile project, ensuring delivery to time, quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage the day‑to‑day operations of planned SHDF works on site.
* Work closely with site teams and subcontractors to ensure smooth project delivery.
* Oversee compliance and health & safety regulations.
* Monitor progress, quality and budget, reporting regularly to senior management.
* Coordinate with stakeholders to resolve issues promptly and maintain strong communication.
Requirements
* Proven experience in social housing planned works – a must.
* Strong site management skills with the ability to lead and motivate teams.
* Excellent knowledge of health & safety and compliance standards.
* Ability to manage multiple workstreams and deliver projects on time.
Desirable
* Experience with Solar PV panel installations (not essential but advantageous).
* Familiarity with SHDF requirements and energy‑efficiency measures.
