Overview
Our client, based in Fareham, is recruiting for an HR Officer to join their established HR team. This is a busy role requiring a candidate who is keen to undertake a variety of generalist HR tasks including coordinating training and employee compliance. The successful candidate will need to have previous HR experience and be qualified to CIPD level 5. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to progress their career within HR. The role operates a hybrid working pattern with the option to work from home 2 days each week.
Responsibilities
* Work as part of an established team of HR experts and liaise with Managers and employees across the business.
* Take ownership for Learning & Development (L&D), organise training courses, and monitor mandatory training requirements across the business.
* Act as the main point of contact for employee compliance with regards to Visas and Immigration paperwork.
* Receive support in the role and have opportunities to develop over time.
Ideal Candidate / Qualifications
* Experience within an HR role and the ability to deal confidently with people at all levels.
* Self-motivated, keen to learn, with exceptional administration skills and good knowledge of MS Office.
* Strong attention to detail and the ability to work on your own initiative when required.
* Qualified to CIPD Level and good knowledge of UK Employment Law.
