This role will be working as a cook.Key responsibilities will include:Prepare and cook meals for residents following set menusMeet dietary needs, allergies, and special requirementsKeep the kitchen clean, safe, and well organisedAlways follow food hygiene and health & safety standardsOrder, store, and check food suppliesWork with care staff to ensure residents enjoy their mealsTake feedback and make improvements where possibleComplete basic kitchen records and checksSupport special meals, events, and celebrationsThe Person:For this role, our client is looking for someone who has previous cooking experience within the residential sector ideally.A good eye for detail and accuracy.Confident communicator with a collaborative mindset.Previous experience in a cooking or chef role, ideally in a residential environment.Friendly, caring, and respectful towards residentsReliable, organised, and able to manage their time wellCalm under pressure and able to work to routinesTakes pride in cooking and preparing good-quality mealsUnderstands the importance of food hygiene and safetyWilling to follow set menus and dietary requirementsA team player who works well with care staff and colleaguesOpen to feedback and happy to learnTrustworthy and able to work in a residential environmentThe Hours:Monday to Thursday, with some Fridays (7.5 hours a week)The Location:Bristol, car parking (100% office based)The Salary:£27,000 pro rataTPBN1_UKTJ
