We are seeking a talented and professional Trainee Sales Executive to play a key part in the continued growth for our Volkswagen dealership in Cardiff, part of the Sinclair Group. Position: Trainee Volkswagen Sales Executive
Location: Volkswagen Cardiff
Salary: A guaranteed basic salary whilst training. A company vehicle will be offered once successfully completing training. As you develop and gain more experience, you can look forward to earning between £42k and £45k with uncapped earning potential.
Working Hours: 5 day working week - which include Saturdays and Sundays on a rota basis. There will be a rota in place for early and late finishes each week to cover the showroom opening hours.
Full training will be given and you will be expected to attend courses to further your skills.
This role will ideally suit someone who comes from a retail sales background, and has a stable career history.
What you will learn to do:
1. Ensure customers receive good outcomes from every interaction they have with you.
2. Respond to queries from new and existing customers relating to new and used vehicle sales.
3. Guide customers through their purchase, providing outstanding customer service as the face of both Sinclair and Volkswagen
4. Achieve individual sales targets by fully exploring and satisfying customers needs for finance and insurance products and optional extras
5. Assist in ensuring a steady flow of enquiries from multiple channels through prospecting and marketing
6. Maintain a specialist knowledge of manufacturer vehicles and options, participating in regular knowledge updates.
7. Manage the vehicle handover process, ensuring compliance with the process
8. Adhere to Sinclair and industry regulations relating to the sale of vehicles, finance and insurance
What we are looking for:
9. Previous, proven experience of working within a customer focusing sales environment
10. Warm and friendly personality portraying a professional image to all customers (both face to face and over the phone)
11. The ability to quickly establish and build rapport with our customers
12. Know and understand how important it is to use social media, video and chat platforms to engage with customers, and your not afraid to use them.
13. Must possess a valid UK driving licence.
