HR Manager

We have a fantastic opportunity for an HR Manager to join our Global HR Delivery team within our German office in Wiesbaden. They will provide a customer focussed and effective HR service to the business. They will work alongside the HR Delivery Partner, leaders, and wider management across Europe. The role will participate as support to the business leader’s management team in Germany.
In addition to this, they will support the HR function within the German office and add value to the businesses in pursuit of their objectives and overall Group strategy. This will include providing professional HR guidance and support to the business at an individual, team and functional level.
Building excellent relationships with local and international stakeholders, this role will be a trusted advisor and thought leader to the business.

Key responsibilities:
* Provide a full HR service to the German office.
* Support the monthly HR payroll.
* Continuously evaluate current systems, policies and core HR processes, making recommendations to ensure relevance, compliance and to assess and manage risk.
* Working with German leadership on their people agenda
* Managing the onboarding and offboarding agenda for the German Office
* Management of Workday relating to data integrity, projects, and any amendments to the platform.
* Managing HR Administrative duties for the German Office
* Resourcing and career development strategy – partners with business leaders to identify future leaders and skill gaps.
* Supporting the business for all their recruitment and resourcing requirements. Manage and nurture the relationship with our preferred suppliers for recruitment.
* Ensure all HR matters undertaken are handled fairly, consistently in line with legal and company requirements.
* Management of People agenda – responsible for the development of people agenda, this includes planning around performance management, recognition, engagement, culture and leadership.
* Supports line managers in their roles as leaders and people managers. Advises on and manages individual employee relations cases, including maternity, performance management, discipline and grievance.
* Ensure all HR System data is updated and maintained accurately by HR team and manage the production of all monthly and ad hoc reporting.
Skills and experience required:
* Excellent written and verbal communication in German and English. Spanish is desirable.
* Experience of working at a Senior HR Manager level in a generalist capacity;
* Able to use own initiative to recognise and take responsibility for business decisions;
* Previous experience of working within our contact centre environment
* Excellent problem solving skills;
* Understanding of German employment legislation;
* Working knowledge of relevant HR policies and procedures and best practice;
* Understanding of the current HR thinking and strategies
* Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines;
* Able to be flexible to manage their own time effectively in order to achieve multiple tasks;
* Committed to achieving high standards of work and performance standards;
* Team orientated;
* Able to build and maintain effective working relationships with key stakeholders, challenging others’ views where appropriate
* Experience of interpreting, advising and implementing HR policies and procedures; as well leading payroll, projects and implementing new initiatives;
