We are looking for a proactive HR Administrator to join our team. This is a unique opportunity to provide vital administrative support during a period of exciting growth. While you will handle general HR duties, a key part of your role will be supporting our Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) activity - ensuring that data is accurate, documentation is organised, and new team members have a seamless welcome to HSL. No prior HR experience? If you have a background in complex data management, legal administration, or high-level project coordination, we want to hear from you. The Role: What You’ll Be Doing Project & M&A Support Preparing and validating employee spreadsheets for due diligence exercises. Coordinate the distribution and filing of TUPE consultation letters and employment communications. Assist with the smooth transition of transferring employees, ensuring their records and benefits are set up correctly. Keep our integration checklists up to date, monitoring deadlines and key actions to ensure nothing slips through the cracks. General HR Administration Provide support across the full employee lifecycle: recruitment, onboarding, contract changes, and leavers. Maintain accurate records within our HR system (HRIS), ensuring GDPR compliance. Administer routine processes including probation tracking, absence records, and right-to-work checks. What We’re Looking For You don’t need a background in HR, but you do need to be someone who loves a spreadsheet and prides themselves on 100% accuracy. Proven experience in a fast-paced administrative or project support role. Strong IT skills, particularly in Excel (vlookups and data formatting are a plus). You can manage multiple moving parts and meet tight deadlines without breaking a sweat. You understand the importance of handling sensitive, confidential information. Able to speak with people at all levels of the business in a clear, professional manner. Comfortable working in a changing environment where priorities can shift. Desirable (But not essential): Previous experience in HR, Payroll, or Legal administration. CIPD Level 3 qualification (or an interest in studying towards it). Why Work for HSL?
