Job profile: Graduate Programme Management Office Assistant. You will provide administrative support to project managers through the PMO function and support for the administration of our PSA system. Upon completion of the Early Careers Programme you will gain knowledge and skills to help transform the organisation and progress toward leadership roles at Kainos.
Responsibilities
* Project Resourcing – develop and agree resource profiles for each project and maintain these in the PSA tool.
* Project Status Reporting – produce fortnightly project status reports and present to the Delivery Management team.
* Project Financial Management & Reporting – forecast revenue for projects, ensure accurate invoicing, and collect debts from overdue customers.
* Sales Pipeline Management – maintain the Sales Pipeline in the PSA tool and forecast sales to revenue pipeline with the operations manager.
* Provide general PMO support as required and comply with confidentiality and security policies.
Minimum Essential Requirements
* Level 6 bachelor’s degree in a business-related subject (or equivalent).
* Ability to follow company policies, procedures, and processes.
* Strong time-management and planning skills with the ability to work with minimal supervision.
* Ability to deliver tasks within deadlines and a willingness to learn.
* Good verbal and written communication skills with staff and external stakeholders.
* Strong teamwork skills and a collaborative approach.
* A mature, friendly, and approachable style.
* Familiarity with or willingness to learn generative technologies (e.g., Generative AI) to drive innovation and efficiency.
* No prior experience required.
Desirable
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and make sound decisions.
* Previous experience in a similar role.
* Experience with Office 365 Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) or equivalent.
* Familiarity with JIRA, Kimble, SharePoint, or Workday.
