Sales Executive (Financial Events) Location: Chelmsford Work pattern: 4 days in office, 1 day WFH MUST HAVE UK WORK PERMIT. NOT A REMOTE ROLE. We want our salespeople in market, so expect travel to multipleUK and international events Hybrid working : 4 days per week in our Chelmsford office, 1 day WFH Your responsibilities Your mission is to own the full sales cycle for high-value sponsorships across Financial Promoter and Capital Pioneer. Youll be selling to senior leaders in financial services, fintech, and capital markets. Your core responsibilities include: - New business generation Deliver compelling, consultative sales pitches to senior decision-makers. Hit and exceed ambitious revenue targets - Pipeline development Work with marketing and editorial teams to identify and engage prospective sponsors Build a strong, predictable pipeline of commercial opportunities - Account management Partner with content, production, and operations teams to ensure exceptional delivery Build long-term relationships that drive repeat business - Commercial strategy collaboration Work with our editorial and insights teams to craft tailored, high-impact proposals Contribute ideas that shape our event and media products Who we want Youre driven, commercially sharp, and hungry to close deals. Youll want to build a career in B2B media and events. You own your territory, move fast, and hold yourself to high standards. Were looking for someone who can demonstrate: Proven B2B sales success, consistently beating targets A passion for business development and building commercial relationships Strong communication skills, both written and verbal Curiosity and confidence when speaking with senior industry leaders A growth mindset, always looking to improve and learn Pride in your work, with a commitment to quality and professionalism Start date Flexible ASAP preferred.
