Location: Greater Manchester
Travel: Regular travel to sites around the UK
Salary: GBP 70,000 - GBP 72,000

Are you ready to take on a newly created role with scope to shape culture, engagement, and compliance across a complex UK business? We are seeking an experienced HR Manager to lead initiatives across a multi-site organisation (c.1,100 employees). This role offers a broad opportunity to enhance the employee experience and partner with senior stakeholders to embed cultural change.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead projects to improve employee experience related to culture, people, and compliance.
* Coach and develop managers to enhance leadership capabilities.
* Review and refine HR policies in line with legislation.
* Support employee engagement, EVP, and talent planning initiatives.
* Provide guidance on ER, legal, and compliance matters.
* Align initiatives with the organisation's people strategy.
* Contribute to compensation and benefits projects in collaboration with senior HR leadership.
Candidate Profile
* Broad generalist HR experience with a focus on culture, compliance, and ER.
* Ability to operate independently within a matrix, multi-site environment.
* High HR legal knowledge and union experience.
* Strong stakeholder management, coaching, and relationship-building skills.
* Proven outcomes in culture, engagement, or organisational change.
* Pragmatic, adaptable, and capable of leading both strategic and hands-on HR initiatives.
* Willingness to travel and build relationships across UK sites.
