Quality Manager (Main Site Works)
Our Client are looking for a Project Quality Manager (PQM) responsible to define and develop strategies and plans to ensure compliance with established Codes, Standards, Regulations, Policies, Procedures and Contractual Requirements. Ensuring the Quality requirements are met, by promoting a Quality culture throughout the Project.
This is a 6 months contract to start ASAP in Rochester (ME3 0AB) - PAYE only
Primary Functions:
Understand contract requirements
Understand subcontractor(s) contract requirements
Prepare and maintain the Project Quality Plan and other QA/QC related procedures
Coordinate with Engineering review and approval of inspection and test plans.
Ensure sufficient QA/QC resources are available to support all quality related activities.
Ensure Project Quality Training is performed, completed and documented
Implement QA/QC System induction, awareness and communication program in the Project
Ensure staff abides by HSE requirements applicable to their work scope
Act as the focal point for quality issues and resolution
Advise Project Team on all QA/QC issues
Monitor, manage and coordinate Procedure Program Implementation – including New Procedure Generation, revisions and compliance
Monitor Contractor’s QA/QC performance through regular surveillance, inspections and reviews as appropriate
Review key project deliverables to confirm compliance with quality requirements
Participate in subcontracting and procurement cycles to ensure specified quality requirements are met
Review applicable subcontractor’s/supplier’s quality documentation
Ensure the effective management of on-site QC inspection and testing activities.
Ensure project quality documentation and records are developed and maintained
Attend Project Management/Coordination and Quality Meetings and contributes to Project Management
Monitor programmatic compliance to project quality objectives, applicable codes, standards, policies, procedures and specific contract requirements
Coordinate QA audits of project activities according to quality audit program and follow up of Corrective Actions required for non-conformance items Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree or similar in a relevant discipline
Experience: Minimum of 10 years’ experience
Note 1: Experience in quality management in the Petrochemical Industry
