What is the job role?
Pastoral & Safeguarding Manager
We are looking to appoint a person who shares our vision for high-quality education for all children and demonstrates enthusiasm and motivation to:
* Operate as the School’s Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead.
* Manage pastoral care across the school, ensuring high-quality provision with responsibilities for safeguarding, attendance, and supporting mental health and medical needs.
* Line manage and organise the work of the Pastoral Team and manage any associated budget.
* Collaborate with other school leaders as part of the Inclusion Team to support children in overcoming barriers to learning inside and outside school.
* Work with pupils and families in need of support to improve outcomes.
* Support all children to feel happy and safe in school.
Who are we looking for?
The school offers excellent support and professional development opportunities for staff. We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all pupils, requiring an enhanced DBS check for this post. Two references will be obtained for shortlisted candidates prior to interview or appointment.
