The Service - Peace of Mind The Peace of Mind project is a cross-community and cross-border initiative delivered by Verbal in partnership with Inspire Wellbeing, Cedar and the Open University The project addresses the significant mental health challenges prevalent among young people in Northern Ireland and the border counties of the Republic of Ireland, rooted in the aftermath and legacy of the Troubles and the ongoing impact of intergenerational trauma Peace of Mind supports young people aged 14 - 25 years through an engaging early intervention and prevention programme. The project provides opportunities to participate in group-based activities, build resilience, strengthen social connections and enhance health and wellbeing. It actively engages young people from all socio-economic backgrounds, religions, cultures and races, supporting them to explore their identities and learn from one another in a safe and inclusive environment ?. About the Role The Peace of Mind Enrolment Coordinator is a key programme support role within a high-impact, cross-border youth mental health initiative. This position will appeal to a highly organised project or programme support professional who is confident coordinating training activity, managing data and reporting requirements, and maintaining high-quality administrative systems that underpin service delivery. You will play a central role in supporting the design, delivery and evaluation of meaningful training materials, co-produced with young people, ensuring their voices are reflected throughout workplans, reports and resources Key responsibilities include: Designing, delivering and recording high-quality training materials and resources in collaboration with the Youth Team Ensuring accurate registration, recording and evaluation of participation data and translating findings into clear, accessible reports for staff and partner agencies Supporting the development and administration of i-Connect, a closed digital platform designed for young people, by young people Coordinating operational training requirements including scheduling, promotion, venue booking, risk assessments and attendee management Supporting quality assurance processes to maintain high standards across the programme Providing administrative and secretarial support to the Youth Team and Mental Health & Addictions Senior Management Team You will support staff to engage over 4,000 young people aged 14-25 years who self-refer or are referred from statutory services The post will initially be based in Lombard House, Belfast, with travel required across Trust areas and community venues throughout Northern Ireland and the border counties of the Republic of Ireland This role requires someone who can manage competing priorities, maintain accurate systems and records, and build respectful, collaborative relationships with young people, colleagues and external partners. Essential Criteria Applicants must clearly demonstrate: A minimum of 12 months' experience in an administrative, training, youth work or community-based role supporting the delivery of projects or services for young people Demonstrable ability to coordinate events or training sessions, including booking venues, preparing materials and liaising with stakeholders Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain accurate records Confidence in the use of Microsoft Office packages (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and digital platforms such as Zoom and Teams Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage with diverse audiences including young people, staff and partner agencies A full current driving licence and access to a car (business insurance required). Consideration will be given to alternative travelling options for applicants who are disabled Shortlisting will be based solely on the evidence provided within the application form. Additional Information This is a Temporary Fixed term role due to finish on 31st March 2028. This is a regulated post and will be subject to a satisfactory Enhanced Access NI check.
