Role - Site Manager
Location - East Sussex
Salary - £55k - £65k
My client is a growing generalist building contractor they are looking for a Site manager for a client in East Sussex, ideally you'll have experience working on projects valued £20k up to £5m for Refurb and newbuild projects.
Job Responsibilities:
Ensure all works are undertaken with consideration to the needs of the local population
Manage, supervise and mentor the site team
Cover various projects and drive the team forwards
Adopt, maintain and promote cost conscious management
Ensure method statements and risk assessments are prepared, reviewed, briefed and updated
Ensure that the project is properly planned, programmed and resourced to achieve safe, profitable and timely delivery
Prepare monthly progress project reports, and ensure that method statements, risk assessments and approval documents are in place for all site activities
Ensure thorough understanding and adherence to all the contractual requirements
Manage materials and supply, including where necesarry obtaining this yourself
Estimating and pricing projects and variationsKey Attributes:
Having a strong background of working within the build industry (General Builder, Site Supervisor, Foreman or Assistant Site Manager)
CSCS site manager qualified
First Aid
SMSTS or SSSTS Ideally
Valid Full UK Driving LIcence
Safe delivery of projects to time, cost, and quality
Be confident working in a team and adapting to more responsibilityHow to Apply:
