Job Description
We are currently seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee a new build housing project in Norwich. This is initially a 1-week contract, with further upcoming projects offering strong potential for ongoing work.
The Role
As Site Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of site operations, ensuring the project runs safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Overseeing all site activities and subcontractors
* Ensuring health & safety compliance and site regulations are maintained
* Managing site programme and coordinating trades effectively
* Conducting site inductions and toolbox talks
* Monitoring quality control and ensuring works meet specifications
* Liaising with clients, suppliers, and senior management
* Maintaining accurate site records and reports
Requirements
* Proven experience as a Site Manager within new build housing
* Valid SMSTS
* First Aid at Work
* Strong leadership and communication skills
* Ability to hit the ground running
