The organisation is a long-established supplier to some of the world’s most recognised OEM’s, delivering high-performance engineered components used in demanding, safety-critical environments. With a strong heritage in precision manufacturing and materials expertise, the business is continuing to invest heavily in technology, people and operational excellence as it transforms and expands into new markets and programmes.
As a result, the business is now looking to recruit an experienced quality leader for one of their key UK manufacturing sites during an exciting period of growth and capability expansion.

The Role – Quality Manager
The incoming Quality Manager will be responsible for the leadership, development, maintenance, and continual improvement of the site Quality Management System (QMS), ensuring compliance with all applicable third-party standards, customer requirements, and regulatory obligations.
Acting as the site Quality Champion, the role provides visible leadership to embed a culture of quality, customer focus, and right-first-time performance across the organisation.
As the appointed Management Representative for Quality, the role holder has authority and accountability for quality performance and product conformance. The Quality Manager works in close partnership with the Continuous Improvement (CI) Manager — who holds primary responsibility for site-wide continuous improvement strategy — ensuring that quality-led improvements are aligned to broader operational excellence initiatives.
Key Requirements:
* Degree qualified in engineering or a related discipline
* 5+ years in a Quality Manager or senior quality leadership role within manufacturing
* Experience in automotive and/or aerospace quality environments
* Strong working knowledge of IATF 16949 and AS9100 quality standards
* Expertise with core quality tools including APQP, PPAP, MSA, SPC, FMEA and structured problem solving (8D / RCCA)
* Experience leading quality teams, audits and compliance systems
* Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications
