Your new role
A Senior Developer is urgently required to join the team, to work as part of the Tax technology team to develop and implement technical solutions that are resilient and scalable. The Senior Developer will work closely with other members of the team (designers, product owners, business analysts and developers) to deliver excellent experiences for their key clients. The Senior Developer will be required to develop ideas to find a pragmatic approach to the rapid delivery of prototypes, enabling a reduced time to value for users.
What you'll need to succeed

2. Experience breaking downplex problems to build solutions that are resilient, scalable and manageable
3. Experience working with Rest APIs
4. Experience working with databases
5. Experience with continuous integration and automated deployment
6. Experience in an Agile development environment and familiar with Agile ceremonies ( stand-up, backlog refinement, sprint planning)
7. Recent hands-on development experience
8. Working with QAs and automated testing ( TDD / BDD)
9. Use of GIT or similar for code control and management
10. Experience leading, coaching, and developing scrum teams
Preferable skills:
11. Working knowledge of Angular
12. Working knowledge of Java
13. Experience deploying web applications on large cloud-based service providers ( AWS / Azure) and familiar with the underlying architecture
14. Understanding of NoSQL database technologies ( MongoDB)
