Cortexa Capital Ltd is a London-based pre-revenue company specializing in high-value precious metals facilitation, with a focus on gold dore transactions between African aggregators and international refineries. Our business operates at the intersection of trade finance, compliance, and commodity trading, bridging vetted miners, refineries, and institutional buyers.

We are building a lean, performance-driven team capable of handling high-stakes international transactions where trust, precision, and credibility matter.


Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced, motivated Sales Executive to support deal origination and relationship development within the precious metals and trade finance ecosystem. This role suits a seasoned professional comfortable working independently at a senior commercial level — engaging CEOs, VPs, traders, and institutional decision-makers.

This is not a typical sales job; it is a strategic partnership role where your network and persistence can yield exceptional financial rewards.


Key Responsibilities

* Identify, engage, and qualify potential leads (buyers, sellers, or financiers) in the precious metals or trade finance sectors.
* Develop trust-based relationships with senior executives across refineries, mining firms, aggregators, and financial institutions.
* Present Cortexa Capital’s trade facilitation model and value proposition confidently and professionally.
* Coordinate initial introductions and assist in qualifying counterparties with basic due diligence checks.
* Liaise with internal management throughout the deal cycle, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and alignment.
* Maintain consistent communication and follow-up to progress leads towards successful transaction closures.


Skills & Qualifications

* Minimum 5 years’ B2B sales experience, preferably with exposure to commodities, mining, or finance sectors.
* Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management capabilities.
* Proven ability to speak with senior executives (C-suite, VPs, investors) confidently and persuasively.
* Highly self-motivated, entrepreneurial, and proactive, with a “can-do” mindset.
* Comfortable operating independently with minimal supervision while aligning with team strategy.
* Understanding of precious metals trading, international trade, or B2B deal facilitation is highly desirable.


Compensation & Structure — Complete Transparency

This position is 100% commission-based, reflecting the high-value nature of our trade transactions. There is no fixed or base salary.

* Compensation: Up to £95,000 per successful lead and closed transaction.
* Payment Timing: Only upon successful trade completion, confirmed by both counterparties and cleared transaction settlement.
* The structure ensures alignment — rewarding genuine, qualified effort where both performance and integrity drive success.

The commission-based model is necessary due to the pre-revenue status of the company and the high-gain structure of each transaction. A single successful facilitation deal can yield substantial commissions, making this an ideal role for those with existing networks or the persistence to cultivate them.
