Robert Half is partnering with an investment firm based in West London to recruit a Power Platform Developer on an initial 6‑month contract.
This role sits within a growing technology function that is currently experiencing a significant increase in new requests and a backlog of work. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering high‑quality Power Platform solutions, working across Power BI, Power Automate, and M365 (particularly SharePoint architecture).
Responsibilities:
1. Develop and enhance workflow automation solutions using Power Automate.
2. Build reporting dashboards and advanced analytics solutions using Power BI.
3. Support and improve M365 / SharePoint architecture, ensuring robust structure and governance.
4. Prioritise and deliver against a high volume of incoming work, helping clear existing backlog items.
5. Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements and convert them into scalable technical solutions.
6. Work across multiple teams to ensure smooth delivery of new features and enhancements.
7. Provide guidance on Power Platform best practices, governance, and efficient use of the tech stack.
8. Contribute to wider automation and productivity initiatives across the organisation.
Experience:
9. Strong hands‑on experience with:
10. Power Automate
11. Power BI
12. M365 / SharePoint architecture
13. Excellent communication skills - confident and articulate.
14. Proven ability to manage competing priorities and deliver at pace.
15. Experience working through a backlog and supporting high‑demand environments.
16. Ability to gather requirements and translate business needs into technical solutions.
17. Exposure to Microsoft Copilot.
18. Experience within investment, financial services, or professional services environments.
Organisation:
19. Initial 6‑month contract
20. Hybrid working, typically 2-3 days per week onsite in West London.
