TERM – Permanent (35‑hour week)
SALARY – £55,000‑£60,000 Plus Other Benefits
My client is a market‑leading manufacturer of safety‑critical products in Surrey. The Quality Manager will ensure products are fit for purpose, meet internal and external requirements, and monitor QMS performance through data reporting and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
* Report QMS performance and KPIs to top‑level management
* Maintain all QMS processes and controls
* Conduct internal and external quality audits
* Prevent quality issues by collaborating with R&D, Supply Chain, Engineering and Production
* Analyse data accurately and make informed decisions
* Monitor and report quality KPIs across manufacturing, prioritise risk areas and drive improvement
* Obtain certification and testing quotations for NPD projects
* Liaise with key customers to manage quality expectations in design, manufacture and testing
Qualifications
* At least 3 years’ experience in the manufacturing industry
* Energetic, meticulous, and consistently deliver quality work under pressure
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills at all business levels
* Strong knowledge of PFMEA, control plans, RCA, and 8D problem‑solving techniques
* Positive attitude to change, detail‑focused and a natural leader
