Duties & Responsibilities
* Develop and implement the strategy for all aspects of human resources including but not limited to recruitment, performance management, employee relations, compensation and benefits, and compliance with employment laws
* Serve as a business partner to leadership, providing coaching and guidance on people-related issues
* Oversee the development and implementation of programs designed to engage employees and build a positive culture
* Manage the budget for the HR department and ensure cost-effective operations
* Conduct regular audits of HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations
* Keep abreast of industry trends and best practices in human resources and make recommendations to senior management
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across the organization
* Represent the company at various events and conferences related to human resources
* Manage compliance and Health & Safety
* Handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
* Prepare reports and presentations for senior management on various topics related to human resources
* Perform other duties as assigned
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or related field
* 2+ years experience in human resources management
* Proven track record of developing and implementing effective human resources programs
* Strong understanding of federal and state employment laws
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
* Ability to think strategically and execute tactically
Preferred Skills and Qualifications
* A degree in human resources, business administration, orCIPD Qualification
* Previous experience in a similar role
* Experience with employee relations, benefits administration, and workers’ compensation
* Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS)
