Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Caterer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a good background in food preparation and cooking, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to food safety. As a Caterer, you will be responsible for preparing and serving delicious meals for various events, ensuring that all culinary standards are met while providing a well presented food for our customers
Responsibilities
* Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to menu specifications and client requirements, mainly good breakfast, brunch and light lunches
* Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with food safety standards and regulations
* Assist in meal preparation, including chopping, marinating, and cooking ingredients
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area at all times
* Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during events
* Set up serving areas and present food attractively for guests
* Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and report any shortages or needs
* Provide excellent customer service while interacting with clients and guests
Requirements
Days of work Friday - Monday includes weekend just day time hours, 8-3pm
* Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a professional kitchen environment
* Strong culinary skills with the ability to create diverse menus
* Familiarity with food safety practices and regulations
* Previous experience in catering or restaurant settings is highly desirable
* Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy events
* Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
* Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members
