Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Catering Manager to oversee our catering operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing a variety of events, ensuring that all culinary aspects are delivered to the highest standards. This role requires strong leadership skills and a passion for hospitality, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
* Plan and organise catering events from conception to execution, ensuring all client requirements are met.
* Food preparation processes to maintain quality and presentation standards
* Collaborate on menu choices
* Deal with the setup and breakdown of catering events, ensuring all equipment is properly maintained and cleaned.
* Manage inventory levels of food supplies and kitchen equipment, coordinating stock levels
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the kitchen and catering areas.
Qualifications
* Experience in a catering management role or similar position within the hospitality industry is desirable but not mandatory
* Strong culinary skills with experience in food preparation and cooking techniques desirable
* Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively under pressure.
* Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
* A passion for hospitality and delivering outstanding customer service.
