Overview
We are seeking a dedicated cook. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen preparing and delivering consistent bar menu and homecooked match meals. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in food preparation and cooking, with a commitment to food safety and excellence in service.
Responsibilities
* Prepare ingredients and assist in meal preparation according to established recipes and standards.
* Cook and present dishes with attention to detail, ensuring consistency and quality.
* Maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment, adhering to food safety regulations.
* Assist in inventory management, including stock rotation and ordering supplies as needed.
Skills
* Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a professional kitchen environment.
* Strong culinary skills with an understanding of various home cooking techniques.
* Familiarity with food safety standards and best practices in meal preparation.
* Previous restaurant experience is advantageous, demonstrating an ability to work effectively under pressure.
* Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate clearly within a busy kitchen setting.

* Usual hours 11am- 3pm however hours may differ when match meals required. Some weekend work will be required.
Minimum requirements
Food Hygiene Level 2 qualification

Job Type: Permanent
Pay: £14.00-£15.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 20 per week
