At Tebay Services, we make all our food ourselves from fresh local ingredients, including meat from our family farm.
Reporting to our Kitchen Manager, you will play a key role in putting the finishing touches to our hearty dishes, delivering a smooth kitchen service, and maintaining high standards for our travelling customers.
You will:
1. Follow our seasonal recipes, ensuring that food is cooked and presented to specification, checking levels and demand to ensure we only offer fresh, quality products across breakfast, lunch, and dinner service.
2. Maintain a clean, tidy, and safe kitchen with the highest levels of food safety to maintain our 5-star rating, including completing all necessary paperwork.
3. Communicate and escalate any product issues or concerns to your manager to help keep the flow of delicious food available.
4. Work together with the larger catering team, using flexibility and your initiative to adapt activities to meet different circumstances and customer needs.

Our ideal candidate would have at least 1 year of experience in a chef or cook role and be able to work in a fast-paced, high-volume catering environment.
