Are you passionate about making a real difference to children with additional needs? We are seeking a committed and resilient SEN Learning Mentor to support pupils with special educational needs, including social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs, within a nurturing primary setting.
Location: Waltham Abbey, Essex
Role: Full-time | Term-time
What You’ll Be Doing:
* Supporting pupils 1:1 and in small groups to access learning
* Promoting independence, self-esteem and inclusion
* Implementing behaviour strategies consistently and calmly
* Assisting with EHCP targets and individual support plans
* Working closely with teachers, parents and external professionals
We’re Looking For Someone Who:
* Has experience supporting children with SEN
* Understands safeguarding and child protection
* Is resilient, patient and emotionally intelligent
* Can build positive, trusting relationships
* Wants to be part of an inclusive, child-centred school community

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
