Supply Chain Quality Manager Location: Filton (minimum 60% onsite) Contract: Until 31/12/2026 (likely extension) Working Pattern: 35 hours per week (4.5 days, between 7am-7pm) Pay Rate: £28ph Umbrella or £20.93ph PAYE Clearance: BPSS (completed by the Client) IR35: Inside IR35 The Role Our client is seeking an experienced Supply Chain Quality Manager to join their team on a long-term contract based in Filton. This role has a strong quality focus rather than pure supply chain, and will suit someone confident working autonomously, engaging directly with suppliers, and driving on-time, on-quality delivery. You will play a key role across New Product Introduction and serial production, acting as a focal point for supplier quality, performance, risk management, and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities Lead supplier quality activities to ensure on-time and on-quality delivery Manage supplier compliance and maturity, including surveillance plans and risk portfolios Act as a key interface between suppliers and internal stakeholders Support and lead supplier audits, reviews, and assessments Drive root cause analysis and corrective actions using PPS methodologies (8D, 9S, 5 Whys, Ishikawa) Support transfer of work activities and supplier development initiatives Raise, track, and escalate risks, issues, and actions where required Contribute to procurement strategy, supplier approval, and contract setup where needed Ensure manufacturing non-conformances and concessions are effectively managed Skills & Experience Required Proven experience in Supply Chain Quality or Quality Management (experience valued over qualifications) Strong background working with suppliers in a regulated / industrial environment Excellent communication and negotiation skills Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Solid understanding of quality tools and methodologies (APQP, FAI, audits, control plans preferred) Experience supporting audits and compliance activities Flexibility to travel occasionally within Europe If you think this could be a new and exciting career opportunity for you and you would like to learn more or just for an initial, no-obligation conversation please contact me on 07732 694 243 or you can apply directly by following the Easy Apply link and I will contact you as soon as I receive your contact details.
