Human Resources Administrator Apprentice
Location: Stirling

Your new role
Are you leaving school in the summer and looking for an exciting opportunity to earn while you learn? Then Robertson could be the place for you to start your career. You will support the HR team, gaining experience in resourcing, employee relations, learning and development and more all while being supported through your business administration qualification to get you on track for a successful career in HR.
What you’ll do:
1. Maintain employee online records ensuring they are fit for purpose, up to date and accurate.
2. Manage the team mailboxes and distribute emails accordingly across the HR team.
3. Assist the HR team with administrative tasks as and when required, such as writing letters and taking minutes in meetings.
4. Assist with mandatory learning events – liaising with external suppliers, booking courses, ensuring all details are captured on the Learning Management System (LMS).
5. Assist with scheduling, planning and administration of all training delivery programmes for Robertson Facilities Management.
6. Assist the recruitment team with managing vacancies, including arranging interviews and updating the Applicant Tracking System.
7. Support with candidate and employee email queries relating to recruitment and onboarding.
8. Assist with preparing and issuing contracts of employment and onboarding documentation, liaising with the Payroll department as required.
9. Manage candidate trackers, including screening and vetting requirements, ensuring both candidates and hiring managers are communicated with throughout the process.
10. Support with any system developments, including job portals and talent pools.
11. Supporting data analysis and insights reporting through the use of HR Systems, Power Bi, Excel and other data tools.
12. Any other relevant duties/projects that may be assigned by the HR team from time to time in keeping with the character of the position.
What you’ll need:
13. Minimum Nat 4 English/Maths - GCSE equivalent
14. Good interpersonal and organisational skills.
15. An enquiring mind who enjoys problem-solving
16. Proficient on all relevant software packages including E-mail, Word and Excel.
17. The ability to work on own initiative and demonstrate a methodical approach.
18. The ability to work as part of a team and under pressure.
19. Dedication and ambition to develop within the role.
20. Excellent attention to detail
21. Strong communication skills
22. Able to work effectively within a team
About you:
This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a close-knit HR team working on a variety of people related projects and deliverables to ensure the delivery of effective end-to-end HR services in a fast-paced and growing Facilities Management business.
As an HR Apprentice, you will confidently provide highly efficient and effective support to the HR team, ensuring the delivery of exceptional service to the company.
