The Role:
As the Cook, you will be required to carry out a variety of duties including;
1. Food preparation
2. Cooking from a set menu
3. Food Service
4. Completing relevant food charts to include temperature checks
5. Cleaning
Hours of work:
6. Mon - Fri to
7. hours per week
Requirements:
8. The ideal cook will have NVQ Level 2 Food Prep & Cooking / City & Guilds 706/2 or a minimum of two years catering experience within a school meals setting.
9. Working in a team
10. Have an appreciation and understanding of the importance of Food Safety
11. Good communication skills and good understanding of English
12. Demonstrable ability to work on own initiative to meet deadlines
13. Possess a 'can do attitude'
