Site Manager - Substations

The Site Manager will take ownership of day-to-day site operations, ensuring all activities are delivered safely, on programme and to the required quality standards. Working closely with project teams, subcontractors and clients, you will play a key role in maintaining strong site leadership while upholding the highest standards of health, safety and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage and coordinate daily site operations on substation projects within the NGED framework.
* Develop and implement Health & Safety Plans, Method Statements and Risk Assessments in line with current SHEQ legislation and company procedures.
* Supervise, lead and motivate site teams and subcontractors, ensuring work is carried out safely and responsibly.
* Liaise with clients and stakeholders, maintaining clear communication throughout project delivery.
* Lead and contribute to site progress meetings, providing updates on programme, risks and performance.
* Ensure works are delivered within agreed timeframes, budgets and quality standards.
* Support internal and external audits, ensuring full compliance with regulatory and company requirements.
* Promote a culture of health and safety, efficiency and teamwork across all site activities.
