SITE MANAGER
Location: Nottinghamshire

Working Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday
We're looking for a confident and experienced Site Manager to join our Rail & Infrastructure team, supporting the delivery of arboriculture and de-vegetation projects across Nottinghamshire. This is a hands-on role where you'll work closely with the Senior Site Manager and Contracts Manager, helping to drive projects forward safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
You'll be part of a supportive and experienced Rail & Infrastructure team, working on meaningful projects with real impact. We offer long-term career stability, opportunities to develop, and the chance to be involved in varied and challenging work across the rail network.

What you'll be doing
* Working closely with the Contracts Manager to oversee day-to-day site operations, ensuring all works are delivered safely and in line with regulations
* Carrying out regular site audits and inspections to maintain high safety and quality standards
* Creation of task briefs and risk assessments
* Managing changing workloads while supporting and guiding site-based teams to keep productivity high
* Pricing works and managing project delivery from start to finish, ensuring outcomes exceed expectations
* Scoping sites thoroughly, assessing constraints and requirements, and producing clear, detailed task briefs
* Liaising with clients to address queries, manage expectations and maintain strong working relationships
* Managing working hours and planning possessions to maximise efficiency while prioritising team wellbeing
* Ensuring smooth project delivery by resolving issues quickly and effectively as they arise
What we're looking for
Essential:
* Proven experience in arboriculture and de-vegetation pricing of works.
* IT literate through Word and Excel.
* Experience managing teams of Site Supervisors and Site Managers
Desirable:
* Rail sector experience
* Existing Site Managers holding SMSTS, IOSH, NEBOSH, First Aid +F and COSS
