Our client - a successful and award winning international law firm have a fantastic and unique opportunity for a highly experienced and well educated Marketing BD Co-ordinator to join the Marketing team and work alongside the Head of Marketing
Duties will include:-

* Support business development activities including pitch, client team, response to RFP and research/competitive intelligence projects. This includes liaising with other firm departments and managing lawyers on this topic.
\t
* Pitch and RFP activity is a significant component of the role. Candidates must be comfortable working directly with lawyers to produce responsive documents, including leveraging off-the-shelf/precedent materials and preparing thoughtful draft language for lawyer review.
\t
* In support of lawyer pitch activity, candidates must have experience coaching lawyers on key themes, talking points, organization/structure of meetings, and analysis of competitors as necessary.
\t
* Assisting with industry meetings focused on business development. Responsibilities include preparing meeting agendas, keeping track of action items, proactively encouraging/reminding lawyers of their to-dos, and maintaining trackers for business development activities.
\t
* Support overall maintenance of marketing collateral and databases/systems.
\t
* Support overall maintenance of marketing activity databases, including by reporting substantive notes and outcomes.
\t
* Collaborate with the events function to develop, as needed, highly targeted mailing lists for specific uses.
\t
* Participate, contribute to other departmental and team discussions.
Skills, experience & qualifications
\t
* Experience in business development within a law firm or professional services organization of a minimum of 2 years is essential.
