We need someone with strong experience in platform strategy, governance, standards, and policies for developer platforms. We need experience managing a developer tooling portfolio such as Azure DevOps, GitHub, and Power Platform. We need experience defining platform lifecycle management, including onboarding, upgrades, and retirement. We need experience enabling self-service environments, repositories, and pipelines through automation. We need knowledge of embedding security and compliance guardrails into platform design. We need experience tracking platform health, usage, compliance, and service resilience. We need strong capability in adoption, change management, technical leadership, and documentation. We need someone who can support engineering teams and innovation initiatives in an enterprise setting. Responsibilities: We own the developer platform landscape from strategy through execution, governance, and continuous improvement. We define and enforce governance, standards, and policies for developer platforms. We ensure platform security, compliance, and alignment with enterprise architecture. We act as the decision authority on platform usage, integrations, and tooling. We manage the developer tooling portfolio, including Azure DevOps, GitHub, Power Platform, and related tools. We define and manage the platform lifecycle, including onboarding, upgrades, and retirement. We shape platform roadmaps aligned to business priorities and Microsoft ecosystem direction. We enable self-service environments, repositories, and pipelines. We embed security and compliance guardrails into platform provisioning and automation. We standardise tooling patterns to improve consistency and scalability. We track platform health, usage, and compliance. We deliver insights that inform optimisation and investment decisions. We define support models, resilience, and service management for the platform ecosystem. We lead platform adoption and change management across engineering teams. We provide guidance, documentation, and technical leadership. We support engineering teams and innovation initiatives.
