Job Title: Quality Manager (RGN)
Salary: Circa £70,000 + car / car allowance

We are recruiting for a Quality Manager to join a well-established, premium care provider with a strong reputation for regulatory standards and quality-led growth. This is a new role within an experienced quality function and will suit a nurse-qualified professional who enjoys working at pace, supporting services through challenge, improvement and regulatory readiness.
The Role
Reporting into the senior leadership team, the Quality Manager will play a key role in supporting homes across the portfolio to maintain and improve quality, governance and clinical standards.
Unlike traditional inspection-led quality roles, this position is clinically focused and hands-on, working closely with Operations Directors, Home Managers and regional support colleagues to embed best practice and deliver sustainable improvement. The role will involve national travel across the group, supporting both established services and newly acquired homes.
Key Responsibilities
Provide clinical and quality oversight across a portfolio of residential and nursing services
Support services to prepare for CQC inspections and respond to regulatory actions
Undertake quality audits, clinical reviews and governance checks
Work collaboratively with Operations Directors and Regional Support Managers to drive improvement
Support homes inherited through acquisition to stabilise and align with group standards
Offer coaching and guidance to Home Managers and senior clinical staff
Contribute to group-wide quality initiatives, policies and continuous improvement work
About You
RGN qualified (essential)
Strong background in care home quality, governance or clinical leadership
Experience supporting services through CQC inspection or improvement journeys
Confident working across multiple sites with varying needs and performance levels
Pragmatic, credible and supportive approach - able to challenge constructively
Comfortable with travel and working autonomously within a supportive senior teamPrevious CQC Inspector experience is advantageous but not essential.
