The Role:

1. You will report to the Construction Director
2. Be responsible for managing all aspects of the construction development site
3. Ensuring the provision of safe, efficient and cost effective works at all times
4. Number 1 on site
5. Coordinating labour and resources on site
6. Manage material levels on site to ensure the minimum amount of stock
7. Ensuring that all plots are built to the highest standard of quality
8. Undertaking company directed quality control procedures and inspections
9. Monitoring and controlling the cost of production, and approving payment to contractors and trades where appropriate
10. Initiating and attending plot inspections with the Local Building Inspector
11. Carrying out toolbox talks or similar on-site briefings
12. Liaising proactively with other internal departments, externals suppliers and partners to ensure the build programme is achieved
Key Criteria:
13. CSCS, SMSTS, First Aid certificate
14. BTEC diploma in Building Construction or NVQ Level 3 or 4 or similar
15. Minimum 5 years experience as a Site / Senior Site Manager
16. Proven track record of motivating staff and managing a site effectively
17. Up to date knowledge of health and safety obligations and building legislation
18. Able to work with a high degree of accuracy
