Site Manager – New Build Self-Storage Project
Location: Wimbledon, London

Programme: 18 Months

We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead the delivery of a £17m new-build self-storage facility in Wimbledon. This is an excellent opportunity to take full site responsibility on a substantial steel frame and fit-out project from start to completion.
The Role
Reporting to the Project Manager / Contracts Manager, you will be responsible for:

Managing day-to-day site operations
*
Overseeing the installation of the steel frame structure
*
Coordinating subcontractors through to full internal fit-out
*
Driving the programme to meet key milestones across the 18-month schedule
*
Ensuring strict adherence to health and safety standards
*
Managing quality control and inspections
*
Liaising with clients, consultants and local authorities
*
Maintaining accurate site records and reporting progress
Requirements
Essential:
*
Proven experience as a Site Manager on similar value new-build projects (£10m+)
*
Strong background delivering steel frame structures
*
Extensive experience managing full internal fit-out packages
*
SMSTS, CSCS (Black or Gold), First Aid
*
Excellent organisational and leadership skills
*
Strong commercial awareness and ability to manage programme effectively
Desirable:
*
Previous experience delivering self-storage, industrial, commercial or warehouse schemes
*
Temporary works knowledge
