Location: Tameside, Greater Manchester
Position: Part-Time Cook
Join us as a Cook at Wilshaw House in Ashton-under-Lyne, where we provide day care for up to 28 service users daily, diagnosed with dementia or memory impairment.
You will cover shifts from 09:30 to 14:30, sometimes at short notice. Your responsibilities include preparing and cooking meals according to an agreed menu plan, tailored to our service users’ preferences. You will also manage the kitchen area, shopping, stock control, and maintain cleanliness in line with health and safety and food hygiene legislation. Being part of our team means providing a reliable service and working collaboratively to ensure our service users receive the best care.
Wilshaw House is conveniently located, just a 20-minute walk from the town centre and 15 minutes by bus from Ashton-under-Lyne. Experience working with service users with mental health needs is desirable.
