About the role
We're in search of a proactive Commercial Quality Manager to join the Reckitt team, where innovation and science converge to make a real-world impact. You'll contribute to the growth of our trusted product portfolio, ensuring the highest standards of quality. Based in the UK, this pivotal role will focus on maintaining and enhancing our Good Distribution Practice (GDP) compliance across all licensed activities. The successful candidate will play a key role in our quality system and will be supported with a structured development plan to progress towards becoming a named Responsible Person (RP).

Your responsibilities
Key Responsibilities/ Accountabilities:
1. Maintain and continuously improve our Quality Management System (QMS) in line with GDP and MHRA regulatory standards
2. Oversee and conduct internal audits, supplier audits, and implement CAPA where needed
3. Manage quality documentation including SOPs, deviations, CAPA, change controls, and complaints
4. Collaborate with supply, logistics and regulatory departments to ensure GDP-compliant storage and transportation of medicines
5. Collaborate with our approved third parties, including our third-party warehousing sites
6. Ensure appropriate staff training and support for GDP and quality standards
7. Assist with the preparation for Health Authority inspections and ensure inspection readiness, including the MHRA and HPRA (Ireland)
8. Lead or support investigations into quality incidents and develop risk assessments
9. Participate in regular management reviews of the QMS
10. Supporting customer and supplier qualification activities
11. Work closely with the current RP to gain hands-on experience, with the goal of being nominated as Deputy RP and named RP in the future
12. Challenge existing process to improve operational and environmental efficiencies of the business whilst maintaining compliance to GDP and Health Authority expectation.
The experience we're looking for
Required Skills & Experience:
13. Proven experience in a pharmaceutical quality role, ideally within a GDP environment
14. Strong working knowledge of EU GDP Guidelines (2013/C 343/01)
15. Experience in deviation management, CAPA implementation and change management
16. Excellent communication and organisational skills
17. Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently and as part of a team
18. Competent with Microsoft Office and eQMS platforms
Desirable Qualifications:
19. Degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, or related discipline
20. Previous involvement with MHRA inspections or WDA(H) licence maintenance
21. Exposure to RP duties or shadowing experience
22. Completion of RP or GDP-related training courses (e.g. Cogent Gold Standard RP training)
