IT Services This full time postion is available immediately on a permanent basis and offers the opoortunity for hybrid working - some time from home and some time from campus (minimum one day per week at St Luke's campus). We are looking for a Power Platform Developer to join our Cloud Services team within IT Services. This is your opportunity to work with the Microsoft 365 platform to assist the University in delivering successful digital solutions. The role holder will work on a range of project-based deliverables, supporting and developing solutions in line with information and development best practices. Working closely with stakeholders, the role holder will translate business processes into Microsoft 365 built solutions; assisting the University on its transition to a more automated, digital working environment. Using SharePoint Online, Canvas Power Apps, Power Automate and other technologies. The role: - You will be building solutions for the University using the Power Platform (Canvas Power Apps and Power Automate), SharePoint and other technologies as required. - You will be working directly with customers, understanding their requirements, developing the solution, testing and deploying the final product. - You will provide support to users (academic and professional services staff) of Microsoft 365 including SharePoint, Microsoft Forms, Teams and the Power Platform, including delivering in house training where appropriate. - You will keep up to date with the latest developments within the Microsoft 365 Platform and help to support and mentor more junior developers - You will help to improve the Microsoft 365 Platform within the University. Actively participating in University projects and working groups. You will: - Have experience in developing solutions within Microsoft 365 especially Canvas Power Apps and Power Automate. - Have customer service experience, either working directly with customers to develop solutions or supporting them, such as via an IT Helpdesk. - Understanding of best practice principles within IT development, testing and Information Governance. - Be passionate about new IT and digital technologies with a particular interest in the Microsoft 365 platform and be keen to continually develop and learn new skills as required by the role. - Have strong communication skills with the ability to establish effective working relationships.
