Responsibilities in your new role as the Head of People
As the Head of People, you will be responsible for leading and developing the HR team. You will ensure legal compliance and reduce organisational risk and use data and insights to inform strategy and decision-making. You will be responsible for building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
You will also be responsible for developing and refining HR policies, processes and SOPs, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and service delivery. You'll collaborate closing with the HR team and other stakeholders to ensure consistent HR operations support.
Your personality, experience and qualifications
We’re seeking a senior HR professional with extensive experience and a CIPD Level 5 or 7 qualification. You’ll have a strong knowledge of UK employment legislation and HR best practice, with a proven track record in managing and developing HR teams. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills are essential, along with experience in talent and succession planning, performance management, and driving employee engagement strategies.
The ideal candidate will bring high levels of emotional intelligence, cultural awareness, and digital fluency, enabling them to influence effectively and support a forward-thinking people strategy.
