YOUR ROLE

As an Enterprise Data Architect, you will primarily work with our public and private sector clients to identify and develop opportunities for Capgemini Invent. You will help our clients to realise their vision and strategy by leveraging leading technology solutions. As an Enterprise Data Architect in the business, you’ll help set the direction, driving forward the business, model our values and behaviours, and coach and develop junior members of the team.

As a Director in the business you’ll help set the direction, driving forward the business, model our values and behaviours, and coach and develop junior members of the team. Key expectations from this role include:

1. Defining compelling transformation visions, strategy, and roadmaps, securing executive commitment and funding for adoption of the transformation roadmap.
2. Defining target enterprise data architecture including transition states
3. Leading technology specification and selection
4. Providing advice and guidance through complex technology delivery
5. Developing data operating models
6. Establishing and delivery of an Agile delivery, and data architecture governance culture
7. Conducting quality and lean process improvement – applying Design Thinking for review of development processes to determine failure risks, waits, bottlenecks and develop automation improvements.

As part of your role you will also have the opportunity to contribute to the business and your own personal growth, through activities that form part of the following categories:

8. Business Development – Leading/contributing to proposals, RFPs, bids, proposition development, client pitch contribution, client hosting at events.
9. Internal contribution – Campaign development, internal think-tanks, whitepapers, practice development (operations, recruitment, team events & activities), offering development.
10. Learning & development – Training to support your career development and the skills demand within the company, certifications etc.

YOUR PROFILE

11. Advising on emerging and leading practices and tooling
12. Communicating with both business and IT teams at all levels to ensure alignment and either change the solution or pivot when necessary.
13. Utilising data-driven decision making and build appropriate recommendations for the client.
14. Cultivating strong relationships among working teams and have exposure to senior leadership
15. Developing business and investment case
16. Developing client proposals
17. Currently working in a major Consulting firm, and/or in industry but having a Consulting background Proven ability to be successful in a matrixed organisation, and to enlist support and commitment from peers in selling and delivering consulting solutions.
18. Experience of proposition building and delivery.
19. Business development – utilising a combination of the organisation’s broader pre-existing relationships, company relationships and your own network, you’ll be generating c.£2m of consulting revenues (Director)
